BoC: Core annual CPI ticks up to 1.6% in October

According to the data released by the Bank of Canada, the core CPI, which excludes volatile food and energy prices, rose 0.4% in October after staying unchanged in September. Consequently, the annual core CPI increased to 1.6% in the same period from 1.5%.
