Earlier in the morning we will see January’s housing starts, which are expected to improve to an annualized 1173k from 1149k in December. TD is slightly-below consensus and looks for a print of 1167k, along with a 1.2% m/m decline in building permits (mkt: -0.3% m/m).

Meanwhile, industrial production for January is expected to revert to growth following several months of contraction, increasing by a consensus estimate of 0.4% m/m as the capacity utilization rate bounces back to 76.7%; TD expects +0.3% m/m and 76.5%, respectively.

Producer prices for January are forecasted to gain 0.1% m/m by the market, while TD looks for a flat reading.”
