NZD/USD flat for the session unable to overcome the 0.78 handle

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - The NZD/USD foreign exchange rate is last trading at 0.7782 off recent session highs at 0.7807 printed on the back of RBA deputy governor Lowe's remarks.

NZD/USD trying to form a base?

According to FX Charts analyst Jim Langlands, “The 1 and 4 hour charts are both pretty flat and give little hint in either direction, while the dailies look as though they are trying to form a base. The price action though, shows little sign of recovery and while I don’t think today will be the day, an eventual retest of the recent 0.7682 looks likely.”

NZD/USD key technical levels

Immediate resistance to the upside for Kiwi shows at yesterday's/June 24 highs 0.7791, followed by recent session highs at 0.7809, and past Friday's highs at 0.7823. To the downside, closest support lies at recent session lows 0.7760, followed by Tuesday's lows at 0.7734, and Monday's/yesterday's weekly lows at 0.7708.
